2009 Registration Information
Registrations received after June 1 incur a $25 late fee.

2009 Registration is now closed.

Online Registration
Click on the blue "Register Online" box below.
Online registration requires payment via credit card (VISA, MC, or Discover).. no AMEX and no checks. If you wish to pay via check, print the forms and mail them in with the checks as described below.

Registrations placed June 1st thru 30th will incur a $25 late fee.
Online registration will close June 30th.
(Note .. the computer will automatically place your child in the appropriate age group based on his or her birth date .. for clarification on age brackets, see "League Age Groups" below.)

Registration By Mail
($25 Late Fee applied to any registrations received after June 1st)
Registrations will be accepted until June 30th with the late fee. After June 30th, players will be placed on a waiting list and placed on teams on a space available basis. There will be no guarantee of team placement.

Fill-in and print two copies of the CYSA Membership 1601 form **

Complete and sign both copies (no photocopied signatures accepted).

Include a photocopy of the player's birth certificate – Required for all players, U6 to U12  who did not play for WYSL last year, and ALL U14 and higher players. CYSA requires a birth certificate on file for every player in our club, regardless of age.

Print and sign a copy of the WYSL Policies

Print and sign a copy of the WYSL Parent/ Player Code of Conduct

Include the appropriate fees (see below) made out to WYSL.

If your player is U14 and above, include a 1 X 1 inch portrait-shaped photo of your player's head only (no torso). No hats, no shades. Write their name clearly on the back please. (click here for sample)

Please mark on your check on the memo line, your child’s name and age group.

** If you cannot download this form, you can pick up a hard copy at 7637 Baldocchi Way. A box labeled "Windsor Soccer" is located on the front porch. The first file contains instructions on the paperwork needed. CYSA Membership Forms 1601, and coaching forms are also located in the box. Please take the form you need. You can return the completed and signed paperwork, along with a copy of the player's birth certificate (that we can keep) and your payment check to the box.  The box is checked frequently. You can leave a note with further information or questions for the registrar, or e-mail her. The registrar will contact you if anything further is needed. Note: This is NOT the registrar's house so please do not knock on the door with inquiries.

Older players: If you register now and we do not have enough players to form a team, you will receive a full refund. However, if you wait until after June 1st, you will lose your $25 late fee.

Mail completed packages to: WYSL Registrar, 8868 Lakewood Drive #272, Windsor, CA 95492. Completed mail-in packages must be received by the Registrar by June 1st to avoid the $25 late fee. Please do not mail incomplete packages, as they will be returned to you, possibly resulting in late fees.

Walk-in Registration Sessions

Will take place at the Windsor Community Center, 901 Adele Drive, on the following dates:

Saturday :       April 25     10:00am to 2:00pm
Wednesday:    May 6         5:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday:         May 23       9:00am to 11:30am

Please remember to bring a photocopy of your child's birth certificate (if you are new to Windsor Soccer) that will be retained in WYSL records.

Registration Fees
Registration fees cover referee costs, field rentals, insurance, uniforms, participation medals for the younger ages, family fun day, windsor cup tournament, coaches select weekend, team equipment, and 2 practices per week, plus other miscellaneous costs for the league.

Please submit the following registration fees via cash, check or credit card:
U6 and U8:          $100 + $25 late fee = $125
U10, U11, U12:    $110 + $25 late fee = $135
U14 and older:     $120 + $25 late fee = $145

A seperate check per family for the $25 volunteer fee will also be collected. This will be refunded upon two (2) hours of service to the club. See the WYSL Policies form for more information on the volunteer fee.

A $25 late fee per player will be charged after June 1st (missing paperwork will also result in late fee.)

League Age Groups

If registering on-line, the computer will automatically place your child in the right age group.
If mailing in your registration, here is a guide as to which age group your child belongs. The child's "League Age" for registration is based on his or her age as of July 31, 2009. As an example, if your child's birthday is September 1, 2001, he will still be 7 years old on July 31, 2009 so should be entered in the U8 age group. Even though he will be 8 shortly into the season, he was "Under 8" on the cut-off date of July 31. Please refer to the following matrix if you are unsure:

U6---Birthdate between August 1, 2003 and July 31, 2005   (child will be 4 or 5 on July 31, 2009)
U8---Birthdate between   August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2003    (child will be 6 or 7 on July 31, 2009)
U10---Birthdate between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2001    (child will be 8 or 9 on July 31, 2009)
U12---Birthdate between August 1, 1997 and July 31, 1999    (child will be 10 or 11 on July 31, 2009)
U14---Birthdate between August 1, 1995 and July 31, 1997    (child will be 12 or 13 on July 31, 2009)
U16---Birthdate between August 1, 1993 and July 31, 1995    (child will be 14 or 15 on July 31, 2009)
U19---Birthdate between August 1, 1990 and July 31, 1993    (child will be 16, 17, or 18 on July 31, 2009)

Scholarships

Those seeking registration scholarships should submit an application to the league along with their registration forms and payment. Once the board determines who receives the scholarship, a refund will be given to the family. Scholarship applications are available on the website www.windsorsoccer.com under "WYSL Forms" in the far right column. Scholarships are generally not available after the registration cut-off date (June 1st, 2009).

A Note from the Registrar

Dear Parents, Coaches and Age Group Coordinators:

When dropping off or picking up material from me, please use the box labeled "Windsor Soccer" on the porch at 7637 Baldocchi Way. This is not the registrar's house so please do not knock on the door with inquiries. When you drop off or pick up material, just use the white box, attach a note if needed, and it will get to me.

Parents, if you feel that you do have to communicate with someone in the League about your player, please contact your Age Group Coordinator (listed on the website under Board page), as most issues can be solved at the Age Group Coordinator level.

Coaches and Age Group Coordinator’s, if you need to communicate with me about something, feel free to do so, but please do so via email, which is much more efficient for me. If you have to, of course you should go ahead and call, but I think you’ll agree that email will work best for all of us. It’s something I can deal with at all hours, and leaves us a written record of what transpired.
